ABOUT UK CHARITY PRECINCT

This website aims to be the UK's topmost portal advertising site for showing any registered UK or Irish charity by their logo. They can be a hospice, hobby society, organisation or just a common household charity that everyone knows and loves. For any charity that wants to be registered, a link will be made from the charities logo to the charities website. The website will be registered with search engines to further highlight its profile and its aims ultimately are to draw people to it, to donate to the charities shown on the site or join a society for membership and enjoyment purposes. Examples of such are the Society for Popular Astronomy (SPA) and RSPB.

All charities will remain on the site for a period of 4 years and then it will be reviewed. It is hoped the website will continue to evolve with other things being planned to be added to it.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

A logo supplied by the charity for the site must be non animated (slows site down).

Size of logo about 120x60 pixels but generally I will decide upon resizing and positioning it in context with the layout of the site (ensuring they are readable) and thus they will be linked to the homepages of the registered UK charity only. Logos are placed on site in sequential and descending down the page fashion, on a first come first served basis.

Logos and details can be sent to me via email: logos@ukcharityprecinct.co.uk  in gif or jpeg format or I can obtain a copy from the charities website and reduce in size as appropriate on the consent of the charity who ultimately own copyright of the logo. A link will be made upon registration and when payment is received.

Purchase of logo space on site will not  mean owning any part of the site, but you are allowed the right to submit an image and link which will then be linked to the charities own homepage.

Once image and link are accepted and put on site, there will be no refund.

Site will be active from February 2006 to February 2010, a period of 4 years and then it will be reviewed.

Only UK and Irish based registered charities acceptable who have registered domains and websites.

In the event the site may be maintained or problems arise with the site hosting service, I will endeavor to ensure it is up and running again as soon as possible.

To register on the site which costs a one off payment of £35.25, the two methods of payment that are accepted are  via paypal (use any credit/debit card) and cheque, address on request.

To pay via paypal please click on the Buy Now below and you will be redirected to the paypal site to pay via a secureserver. Alternatively email for payment details. The logo will be placed on site within days of payment and funds cleared, or if demand is high as soon as possible.
